The 'Henry III: Good King or Bad Ruler?' exhibition opens on 13th September and runs until January 2017.  The exhibition features some of Gloucester's most important medieval treasures, including some of the most recent finds from the excavation of Gloucester Castle - which haven't yet been on display.

Gloucester-Spa Thanks to the national 'Your Paintings' project, the entire collection of oil paintings within the Gloucester Museums Service collection is now available to view online.

To view the collection visit Your Paintings| and search for 'Gloucester'.  Due to the size of the collection, we are not able to display all these works within the museums at any one time.  If you'd like to take a closer look at a particular piece you find online and are able to visit the museums, please let us know by emailing us at museums@gloucester.gov.uk| and we may be able to arrange a viewing with the curator.

A collection of prints and postcards based on artworks in the collection will soon be available from both museum shops.  Please email us at the above address if you would like to pre-order specific prints.
